From law enforcement to luxury beauty, Sekoya’s journey is one of transformation, passion, and purpose. After serving as a Deputy Sheriff, she retired to pursue her true calling—empowering others through beauty, education, and wellness.
With over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry, Sekoya began her career as a makeup artist, later becoming a licensed esthetician and tattoo artist. Her dedication, artistry, and business vision led her to open iCandieBeautyCo Day Spa, where excellence and innovation meet. Continuing her passion for growth and service, Sekoya is also a soon-to-be Registered Nurse (BSN)—bridging the worlds of beauty, wellness, and medical aesthetics.
Over the years, Sekoya has had the privilege of working with reality TV stars, major television and radio networks such as iHeartRadio’s The Breakfast Club, BET’s Rip The Runway, and VH1’s Wild ’N Out, along with celebrities including Cardi B, Jess Hilarious, and Lovely Mimi, just to name a few. Her artistry, professionalism, and signature techniques have earned her recognition both nationally and internationally.
Today, Sekoya proudly stands as a spa owner and beauty school founder, dedicated to helping others turn their passion into purpose. Her mission is simple yet powerful, to redefine beauty, inspire confidence, and educate the next generation of artists to create lasting success in the beauty industry.
