SEKOYA
As a teen, Sekoya found her love and passion for makeup the very first time she wore it. She quickly discovered her natural born talent in makeup artistry and would later go on to dedicate 8 years of intensive study toward perfecting her skills on all things beauty and makeup.
This young beauty mogul in the making didn't stop there. Wanting to take her career and skills to the next level, Sekoya enrolled to become a licensed esthetician, graduating at the top of her class. With her new title as a licensed professional and the skill set to match, she started on her journey to take on the beauty industry.
Over the years, Sekoya has had the privilege of painting the faces for multiple Reality TV Stars, Television Networks (BET), and celebrities like Cardi B. She has also hosted a multitude of makeup/skin- care classes & seminars all over the World. Her skills have even earned her top recognition as an influencer in the Caribbean carnival culture. For the attendees (masqueraders) of carnival, she creates unique makeup looks to match their elaborate costumes.
Through all her accomplishments, Sekoya only ever dreamt of being able to share her love for makeup and skin care by helping others to look and feel beautiful. Creating iCandieBeautyCo has become her dream realized, where she enjoys making each of her clients feel the same magic she did when she first fell in love with cosmetics as a young girl.
